Wireless at IPFW

Hardware Requirements

There are no minimum processor or memory requirements for connecting to the IPFW wireless network. The only hardware requirement is a compatible wireless adapter (card) in the device you wish to connect to the Internet. It is your responsibility to ensure compatibility, to purchase, and to install a compatible card.

IT Services supports connections via Wi-Fi.org certified WPA2-Enterprise and WPA-Enterprise compatible cards. Please visit the appropriate Wi-Fi.org web site listed below to determine whether your wireless adapter card is WPA2-Enterprise or WPA-Enterprise certified.

Please be aware that not all wireless cards are created equally and therefore not all cards will work in connecting you to the IPFW wireless network.
