About ITS Workshops

IT Services utilizes the teaching and problem solving abilities of the User Technology Support Group. They assist IPFW faculty and Staff with numerous software applications running on the IPFW network. Currently, the group consists of:

• Han Fei, Academic Technology Consulting, 481-6197
• Kathie Surface, Academic Technology Consulting, 481-6392

 

Individual or Group training sessions can be scheduled for GroupWise E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Qualtrics Surveys, New User Orientations, Tutor Trac, eLearning BlackBoard Vista, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Additionally, User Technology Support Services offers assistance with special projects or specific software issues.

Personalized Training

Personalized training for individuals requesting assistance or new employees requiring GroupWise E-mail training is available on request and will be scheduled on an individual basis.

Location and Preparation

All training sessions are held in Kettler Hall 205B unless otherwise noted.

• Bring writing tools to make notes.
• Bring a flash-drive to save files (optional)
• Handouts are available for some classes.
• You may also want to bring a sweater in case the lab is cool.
