Help Desk Scanner Stations

Help Desk Scanner StationsThe Help Desk has two scanner stations, one IBM-PC and one Macintosh, for use by faculty, staff, and student workers. Both have color flatbed scanners and access to a black and white laser printer. Scanners are only available during business hours on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scanners can be used for a variety of tasks including image, document and signature scanning. Instructions for these activities are posted at the computers. Help Desk technicians will provide assistance but will not scan items for you.

Scanner stations may also be used by faculty and staff to check e-mail, burn CDs and use software applications that are not working on their office PC.
