Personal/Departmental Software
Purchase Agreements

Several software license agreements allow for personal purchases for home use by qualified IPFW faculty, staff, and students. The current list of products and terms of use are listed below. Most purchases can be made at Follett's IPFW Bookstore. Proof of current IPFW enrollent and IPFW photo I.D. will be required. Some titles under IU's agreements can be downloaded from IUB's servers, however, IPFW accounts are not yet recognized by IU's authentication system. So this option is not available to IPFW Faculty, Staff, and Students, yet. Additionally, in some cases, departments may purchase software directly from either the Bloomington or West Lafayette campuses. These general offerings are listed below, as well. Terms and products are subject to change without prior notice.

Purchasing Software from Follett's

Proof of current enrollment and an IPFW photo I.D. are required. The IPFW school and Apple programs are carried in the store and require a current schedule and the student's IPFW ID. In addition, Follett's has access to most software that has educational pricing. Some of these packages are carried in the store (ex. Adobe® Software

  1. Students, faculty, and staff can purchase Adobe software on DVD from Follott's IPFW Bookstore on or after 3/2/09. You can purchase Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4) Design Premium or Production Premium for $20 per DVD (plus tax); you can also purchase Adobe Acrobat 9 for Windows and Mac OS X, and Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended 9 for Windows; the cost for each is $10 (plus tax).
