NetOp School Information

NetOp School, "Classroom management software that facilitates true collaboration with your class while ensuring that you are in full control of classroom technology at all times," is available for use in the Neff teaching labs (B27, B39, B41, B73, B88) and five Kettler labs (116, 216, 218, 220, 227).

Specifically, this software will enable you to do the following:

  • Remotely control a student's computer to provide demonstrations
  • Monitor the content on students' screens
  • Chat with a selected student or with a group of selected students
  • Temporarily or permanently lock all or selected students' keyboards to encourage attention
  • Run programs on students' computers from the teacher work-station
  • Distribute files to your students' computers
  • Collect files from your students' computers Etc.

NetOp Tool Bar Buttons

A number of training sessions will be scheduled and announced via email to those who regularly use the Neff teaching labs and via the Technology News newsgroup.

If you are not able to attend a scheduled training session, please contact Scott Vitz or Han Fei (see contact information below). They will meet with you one-on-one or set up a special training session that will fit into your schedule.
