eLearning

eLearning (formerly WebCT) is IPFW's online course management system. It is used by instructors for online and face to face courses. It allows instructors to post syllabi; distribute files; administer online assignments and exams; foster discussions, either real time or asynchronous. It also allows instructors to post grades, manage course content and student groups.

Although eLearning is housed and administered at Purdue West Lafayette, IPFW instructors and students use their IPFW account information to log in. All instructors and students get accounts in eLearning shortly before their first semester using it.

Access to eLearning is available by logging into myIPFW. Important announcements about down times are posted on this home page.

Free training is available for IPFW faculty and students in the use of eLearning. Online help is also availabe from the eLearning home page.
