eInstruction CPS - Classroom Performance System
CPS is a classroom response system made by eInstruction for faculty to use for class polling, feedback, etc. It can be used very effectively to engage student participation and for just in time teaching.
The system consists of:
- one radio frequency receiver connected to a PC in the classroom
- many response pads (clickers) owned by your students
- and a software package, called CPS, to tie everything together.
Some classrooms have receivers permanently attached to the fixed teacher's station. See list
CPS can be used in any other classroom by obtaining a receiver through the IT Services Help Desk.
