Computer Accounts

IPFW faculty, staff, students, official retirees and emeritus faculty are entitled to an account username and password to complete tasks related to their university responsibilities. This account grants access to log into campus computers, email, wireless access, etc.

Faculty & Staff

Faculty and staff may obtain an account by having their department fill out the employee account request form. Training will be provided when the account information is presented to the employee. Employee accounts remain active until the owner leaves IPFW.

Student

Every student admitted to take credit courses at IPFW has a computer account generated for them automatically as soon as they are admitted. This account must be activated before use. Student accounts are only available while the student is taking classes.

Official Retiree/Emeritus

Upon request, official IPFW Retirees and Emeritus Faculty will be granted access to an internet email account and/or a network login account for their use after leaving IPFW. This access is subject to all Purdue (or IU) policies and regulations; as well as, IPFW policies and regulations. Misuse thereof will constitute grounds for revocation of the privilege.
