
Student Lab Consultants
Job Requirements
The main responsibility of the lab consultant is to assist the students in using the open access labs. Duties include helping with:
- Logging onto the system
- Launching applications
- Assisting with printing
- Answering basic software questions
- Assisting with using online help
- Resolving minor hardware or software issues
- Clearing paper jams
- Replenishing paper
- Reporting problems to the Help Desk
- Cleaning monitors and keyboards
- Performing routine printer maintenance
- Keeping an orderly lab
- Asking students to leave the lab when appropriate

Pay Rate
Starting pay rate is $6.00 an hour. Starting pay for Walb Extended hours is $7.00.
