Phishing E-mail Scams
On April 17, 2008, an email message was sent to several individuals at IPFW asking them to click a link for important news. This message came from <IPFW> it@ipfw.edu and the link it contained directed people to a login screen that looked exactly like IPFW's GroupWise webmail login.
If you received the message and logged into the web site, please change your password immediately by going to http://my.ipfw.edu and clicking the Change Password link. Then contact the IPFW Help Desk at (260) 481-6030. The message from it@ipfw.edu is a phishing scam designed to steal your username and password.
