UTS is primarily responsible for faculty/staff computing requirements definition/analysis; network access training; microcomputer application software training; computing related strategic planning; academic/administrative computing support; department newsletter publication; facilities/student computer lab planning and installation coordination; analysis, selection and installation coordination of faculty, staff, and student microcomputer software; evaluation/development/selection of training materials/tools; development of in-house documentation.
