Duties:
Infrastructure Services encompasses a staff of 15 people from the areas of
Server and Network Administrators, Data Center Operations, and Telephone
Operations/Information Desk. The objective of combining these areas is to
promote a machine‐based service bureau of supervisors, administrators, and
operators.
The manager oversees the Instalation and maintinance of operating systems and application software for campus computing server platforms. To oversee the network connected user workstations by providing diagnostic assistance with problem resolution. To oversee the design and maintinance of the LAN & WAN (including internet access) networking equipment. To oversee and design, configure and implement utility and management software for campus computing services.
